Problem Possible cause Remedy
The ignitor on the
burner does not
spark.
The mains fuse has tripped. If it has, contact a qualified electrician or Miele.
- Food deposits have lodged
themselves between the
ignitor and the burner cap.
- There are food residues
on the ignition safety device.
Remove any soiling. See also "Cleaning and care".
One of the
following fault
messages
appears in the
minute minder
display:
LC The system lock has been
activated.
You need to deactivate the system lock (see
"System lock").
FL Sensor fault Make sure that there is no direct light (from the sun
or from an artificial source) falling onto the cooktop.
The area surrounding the cooktop must not be too
dark.
Make sure the cooktop or the sensor switches
aren't covered. Take any pans off the cooktop and
wipe away any food deposits.
Interrupt the power supply to the cooktop for
approx. 1 minute.
If this does not solve the problem, please call Miele.

Residual heat
indicator lights
are flashing)
The overheating protection
mechanism has been
activated.
Turn all the control knobs clockwise to position "ß".
You can operate the cooking zones again once F2
has disappeared.
E0

Electronic fault Reset: Touch the easy switch-off function sensor for
three seconds.
If this does not solve the problem, please call Miele.
All other faults There has been a fault in the
electronics.
Interrupt the power supply to the cooktop for
approx. 1 minute.
If the problem persists after reconnecting the
appliance to the power supply, please contact
Miele.
