smaller pan uses less energy than a larger pan with very

little in it.

– Cook with as little water as possible.

– Once food has come to the boil or the oil in the pan is hot

enough for frying, reduce the heat to a lower setting.

– Cooking times are greatly reduced when using a pressure

cooker.
