Danger of injury.
All electrical work should be
undertaken by a suitably qualified
and competent person.
Installation, repairs and other work
by unqualified persons could be
dangerous. Miele cannot be held
liable for unauthorised work.
Ensure power is not supplied to the
appliance until after installation or
repair work has been carried out.
Connection of this appliance to the
electricity supply must be made in
accordance with current safety
regulations (BS 7671 in the UK).
Connection of this appliance should be
made via a fused connection unit or a
suitable isolator and the on/off switch
should be easily accessible after the
appliance has been built in.
If the switch is not accessible after
installation (depending on country) an
additional means of disconnection must
be provided for all poles.
When switched off there must be an all-
pole contact gap of 3 mm in the isolator
switch (including switch, fuses and
relays according to EN 60335).
Connection data
The required connection data are given
on the data plate located on the oven
trim visible when the door is open.
Ensure that these match the mains
supply.
When contacting Miele, please quote
the following:
Model number
Serial number
Connection data (voltage/frequency/
maximum connected load)
When replacing the cable supplied
with another cable or changing the
connection, only cable type H05VV-
F with a suitable cross-sectional
area (CSA) may be used (available
from Miele Spare Parts).

Oven
Ovens are supplied for connection with
an approx. 1.7 m long 3-core cable for
connection to a 230 V, 50 Hz supply.
The wires in the mains lead are
coloured as follows:
Green/yellow = earth;
Blue = neutral;
Brown = live
WARNING,
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE
EARTHED
For extra safety it is advisable to protect
the appliance with a suitable residual
current device (RCD).
